Editorial policy

The role of AI

AI assists with research, summarisation and drafting. It never publishes. Publication is a role-gated human action that requires the checks described in our methodology.

Review stages

Content moves through a fixed workflow and cannot skip a stage:

• Draft
• Scientific review
• Pedagogy review
• Publish
• Re-verify or revoke

Versions and corrections

Every published version is immutable and dated. A correction is published as a new version; we do not silently edit a published one. Each concept page shows when the version you are reading was published.

Withdrawing content

If a published concept is found to be inaccurate or unsafe it can be revoked immediately. A revoked concept stops appearing on the site, in search and in the AI tutor's answers.

Audit

Publishing, revocation, permission changes, source changes and administrator actions are recorded in an audit log.

Reporting a problem

Every tutor answer and concept page is tied to its sources so an error can be traced and corrected at the source.
