Every published claim is traceable to a registered source. This is the hierarchy we follow and the registry itself.
Source hierarchy
- Primary institutional and scientific sources, such as NASA, ESA, CERN, NIST, NIH, USGS and NOAA.
- Peer-reviewed research and reviews, ideally with a DOI and publication metadata.
- Authoritative textbooks, universities and professional societies.
- High-quality science communication, for context only — never the sole evidence for a precise or contested claim.
- Preprints only when clearly labelled, and never presented as settled evidence.
