Safety and privacy

Experiments

• Every experiment carries a safety classification and shows its supervision requirement before the materials and steps.
• Each experiment lists protective equipment, prohibited substitutions and disposal notes where they apply.
• An experiment that is incomplete or in a restricted safety class is not offered to visitors and is kept out of search engines.

The AI tutor

• Answers are grounded in approved, published sources; retrieved text is treated as data, never as instructions.
• When the evidence is weak, the tutor says so or asks a narrowing question instead of guessing.
• Requests involving self-harm, sexual content, dangerous experiments, weapons, drugs and similar age-sensitive topics are handled by deterministic safety rules, not only by the model.
• Age-appropriate language and safety policy are product settings enforced in code.

Children and accounts

• Child profiles have no public profile, no direct messages and no open posting, and default to high privacy.
• Child accounts are managed by a parent or guardian, and free-text tutor history is kept to a minimum for children.
• There is no public user-generated content or user-to-user messaging.
• Location is not collected.

Your data

Anonymous visitors can use all public content without an account, and analytics for them are anonymous. Account holders can export and delete their data from their account settings.
